Friends of Norfolk County Youth Orchestra is a charity that supports talented young musicians across Norfolk by providing bursaries, ensuring that no young musician misses the opportunity to be part of the County Youth Orchestra due to financial constraints.
Established in 2009, the charity is run by dedicated volunteers who are committed to giving young people the opportunity to benefit from orchestral playing and the life skills it develops.
The Youth Orchestra is run by the Guildhall School of Music & Drama through Guildhall Young Artists Norwich, of which the Friends is a partner.
All funds raised by The Friends go directly towards helping young musicians who would otherwise be unable to continue their passion and progress within music.
